Heads Up Monday! CVS deals for the next two weeks!

**If you're new to the CVS game this post won't make much sense to you. Go here first to read my Beginner's Guide to CVS and learn everything you need to know. Then read the rest of this post for tips on how to make the game work for you, too!

Here's a new feature I'm planning to implement every Monday in the future: alerting you 2 weeks in advance of deals that are upcoming at CVS. This will allow you to better plan your purchases now, and start getting your coupons together for the deals that are coming up!

(So far I haven't seen a copy of the July monthly ECB book posted anywhere, and there are murmurs and speculation that we may not be getting one next month! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this won't be true, and if we do get a July book, I'll have the deals posted as soon as they are available!)

A few quick questions about the deals for 6/29:
    1) I'm reading the Bic deal the same way you are--razors and cartridges are separate (PSA 6.99), buy both, use 2 $4 off coupons, but some people have said that the razors and cartridge are packaged together, PSA 13.98, so you can only use one coupon (and then it wouldn't be so cheap). My store def has the razors and refills separately...that means I should be good to go with your deal, right?
    2) In your experience, how closely must the coupons match with the item? I have a 1/1 right guard prof and a .75/1 right guard sport...I'd like to use both next week to get 2 right guard prof...think they'll take the sport coupon for the prof deo?
    3) Although the ad doesn't list restrictions for the Coppertone deal, it does have certain items pictured. Do you think the sticks will work even though they're not pictured?

    You rock!

    Sarah-
    1) I looked at the ad for the Bic Soleil deal, and it shows a pic of a the razor package and blades package being separate. I hadn't heard of a combo pack, but went and did some reading at SlickDeals and read what you were saying, that some people are seeing displays set up with the combo pack.
I plan on buying them separately because that's how they're pictured in the ad, and if my ECBs don't print, I'll call CS. Since the ad says nothing about needing to purchase a combo pack, and doesn't show a picture reflecting that, I imagine I'll have no problem getting them to issue me the ECBs for them.
    2) In my experience, the coupons don't always have to match that closely. In your example, those coupons would most likely work without beeping IF they're the single-row barcode type. The single-row barcode coupons are usually brand-specific, but not necessarily product-specific. The coupons with two rows of barcodes are more product-specific, and are becoming more and more common.
I don't endorse using coupons for other products than they're intended for, because I'm not sure whether or not the store will be reimbursed for them. I want to make sure that the store that gives me so much for free gets the money back from the manufacturer that they're owed! :)

oh, and 3) The ad shows a picture of Coppertone Continuous Spray products for $8.99, but the ECB deal doesn't say "Buy 4 Copportone Continuous Spray products, get $10 ECBs".
It says "Buy 2 Coppertone Suncare Products, get $10 ECBs" which makes me hopeful that any 2 products will work.
But I'm not positive. I'm confident enough that I'm going to try it, and if the ECBs don't print, I'll call CS and argue the wording of the ad and see where it gets me! :)
