Free Breakfast Entree at Mimi's Cafe!

Mimi's Cafe is another restaurant that we visited frequently when we lived in Florida (or as my Michigan-hating husband likes to say, when we were living the good life...lol), but we can't go there anymore because they don't have any Michigan locations.

I read about this on slickdeals.net and thought I'd post it for those of you who are fortunate to have a Mimi's Cafe near you!

Sign up for Mimi's Cafe eClub and they'll send you a welcome email with a coupon for a free breakfast entree! Their muffins are amazing....

Pay Per Post

Today my blog was approved for Pay Per Post, and I'm excited to get started with this new way to make easy money online! I have heard good things about this site. You can go to their site and choose a topic from a list of opportunities, and then go to your blog and write about it. Submit your post for review and once it's accepted, you get paid! The pay rate for the post is listed next to it in the opportunities list, so you can choose the highest paying topics that you qualify for. They range from $5 per post to $150 or more.
Also, Pay Per Post has a referral program that I'm very excited about. For every person that signs up as your referral and completes a paid post and gets approved, they pay you $15. So if this is a money-maker that you'd also like to participate in, please use my link button below to sign up. I would really appreciate it! And once you've started getting paid, send me an email to tell me your success story, and how you plan to spend (or save!) your earnings, and I'll highlight it here on my blog. :)

My earnings will be saved to help us towards our goal of being completely debt-free by the end of this year.

Sonic Drive-In

Sorry for the lack of deal posts the past couple of days. I'm keeping my eyes and ears open, but just haven't found anything of note worth posting about!

I'm posting this deal for two reasons, one: because I LOVE Sonic, and two: because a new Sonic (the first on in Michigan) is set to open this week not too far from where I live, so I'll be able to have a cherry limeade for the first time in over a year!

My husband and oldest daughter and I lived in Florida for a few years, until I got pregnant with my second daughter, and then we moved back to Michigan to be closer to family again. While in Florida, we LOVED Sonic, and went there at least once every couple of weeks.

We've been back in Michigan for 3 years, and get teased repeatedly by the Sonic commercials on cable television, but we couldn't go get any chili-cheese tater tots. :(

Until now, that is. :)

Here's the coupon, it's for 2 regular chili cheese coney combos for $5.

For those of you fortunate to live near a Sonic restaurant, enjoy!

Also, while you are there, you may want to load a My Sonic card with $5 to pay for your purchase, and then bring home the card to register and reload online at this link. The My Sonic card allows you to earn free Sonic food, and right now if you load $15 on their website, you get a free regular tater tots, onion rings, or Sonic Blast. If you load $25, you get a free reglar Sonic burger, breakfast burrito, or Large Sonic Blast!

CVS deal scenarios for the week of 5/11/08

I need diapers this week for my 2 year old and my 2 month old, and thankfully CVS has Huggies on sale for $8.99, so the theme of this week's deals is "Diapers on the Cheap!".

(My CVS takes expired coupons until they 'beep", which is two weeks after they expire, so I am able to use last weekend's $4/$20 coupon still. But for those of you who aren't able to use that coupon, I wrote up these scenarios using the $4/$20 Welcome coupon that you receive when you register your card on CVS.com. Also, Slickdeals has some not-yet-released $/$$ coupon links posted on their site. If these are released this week, I will post the links here on my blog, and you can use that $4/$20 coupon on these deals!)

Scenario #1:

$8.99 Huggies Pull Ups
$3.99 x3 Colgate 360 toothbrushes ($11.97, earns $11.97 ECBs)

$20.96 before coupons

-$4/$20 Welcome coupon
-$2 Pull-Ups printable
-$2, $1 off Colgate toothbrush printable x2
-$1, $1 off Colgate 360 from a recent newspaper insert

Total after coupons: $11.96 plus tax
Earns $11.97

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scenario #2:
$8.99 Huggies Goodnights
$2.99 x 4 Colgate Total plus Whitening toothpaste ($11.96, earns $8 ECBs)
$20.95 before coupons
-$4/$20 Welcome coupon
-$2 Pull-Ups printable
-$3, $1.50 off Colgate Total printable x2
-$2, $1 off Colgate Total from a recent newspaper insert x2
Total after coupons: $9.95
Earns $8 ECBs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Scenario #3:

$8.99 Huggies diapers
$3.79 x3 CVS Non Drowsy Allergy Relief 5 ct ($11.37, earns $11.37 ECBs)

$20.36 before coupons

-$4/$20 Welcome coupon
-$3/$10 CVS Brand CRT from coupon printer
-$1 Huggies coupon from recent newspaper insert

Total after coupons: $12.36
Earns $11.37 ECBs

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I could probably make up a few different scenarios similar to these, incorporating the free-after-ECBs monthly and weekly deals (Aquafresh, or Tums Quik Pak). With the $4/$20 and the Huggies coupons, along with MQs for the other items, it shouldn't be too hard to stock up on diapers for very cheap! If I just do the above deals on both mine and my husband's cards, I'll have 6 packs of diapers for less that $6!
