My CVS loot for this week

You know, you win some and you lose some. The combined receipts of my two cards say that I have saved $4500 this year, and I have spent about $70. That's huge. And I have so many great, AWESOME CVS trips that I really can't complain on the rare occasion that I have a bad one.
So I'm not complaining. I feel a little ill, but I'm not complaining. lol

Tonight's trip was awful. I won't go into too much detail, but I blew about $20 ECBs because I mixed up my cards and didn't get $10 ECBs from a Garnier deal, and because I bought the wrong products on another transaction. Oh, and I was surprised and excited to see that there was a brand new card scanner/coupon printer in my favorite store, but when I went to scan my cards, there was a message saying "Paper Jam, please see associate". Oh well, next time...

Good news is that I still have $32 ECBs on my husband's card and $24 on mine, more than enough to work with next week. And I got some pretty great stuff this week!

On to the goodies!

Whole lotta Nivea, and a whole lotta Garnier. And some cute little flip flops that were on sale! :)
All in all, less that $2 oop, but I burned quite a few ECBs needlessly. Oh well, better luck next week, right??

I know what you mean about losing some and winning some! My trip this week went so wrong I spent over $13 more than I needed too!
    Good luck next week!

That's incredible. You've saved over $4500 and spent only $70. Geesh! I've only been hard core on CVS for about 5 week so I'm pretty psyched about my $500 in savings. In time I hope to save as much to you. PS, is it tough to manage 2 CVS cards? I know you had a rough time this week but I'm curious as to whether it's pretty easy in general. Thx! :)

    Erin,
I haven't had a problem keeping the two cards separate and managing both of them. I have a leather planner, and I keep the ECBs and coupons for my husbands card in the front pocket of that, and I keep the ECBs and coupons for my card in an envelope inside the same planner. For the most part, I just do the exact same transaction or both cards, on the same trip, and verything usually goes smoothly. As long as I remember to hand over the right card. This week, I gave the cashier my husband's card twice in a row, and the garnier deal had a limit of two. I had already done the deal once on each card, and I was doing it again on both, but since I gave him my husband's card twice, I only got the ECBs once because I had reached my limit on that card. If that makes sense.
As long as I pay attention to give the right card, I don't have any problems with the rest. :)
And $500 for 5 weeks is awesome! Keep up the good work and if you ever have any questions, please feel free to email me :)
