Thanks for the great CVS info.

I had a question in regards to last weeks promotions.

I pulled all my pictures together and was all excited to get my photo books...but when I got there, there machine was broken.

This was the last day of the promotion at 5 in the evening.

I asked for a rain check, but they wouldn't give me one and instead told me to drive to another store ( we have no other ones in our town ).

With gas prices, it would not be worth it..nor did I have the time.

Have you ever had problems getting rain checks from CVS in the past? Or, does your store issue them easily?

I wasn't sure what their corporate policy was on them.

Thanks for any info you have.

    Carrie-
I wish I had some insight for you. I have only gotten a rain check once, and that was recently when the Powerade drinks were B1G1. And my cashier had no problem writing one up for me.
The only advice I would have is to call Customer Service. As far as I know, CVS's policy is to issue rain checks on their sale items when they are out of stock or unavailable. If they refuse to do that, they may have been going against corporate policy, and Customer Service may be able to help you, even now, after the fact.
Let me know if you decide to do so, and what results you get!
